Daniel Hassett has been providing strategic advisory for office tenants for over 20 years and has completed over 300 leasing and sales transactions. Currently he is building Summit RE Partners, a commercial real estate brokerage firm focused on Office and Retail Tenant and Landlord representation. The mission of Summit is to elevate the tenant experience and deliver an inspirational office environment through 4 primary tenets: Trusted Strategy, Artful Negotiation, Beautiful Design and Effortless Relocation. Daniel began his career at Newmark and developed his skills over 12 years there. He has advised clients from a wide range of industries including education, entertainment, legal, financial, technology and government. In addition to representing tenants, Mr. Hassett has represented a number of prominent New York City landlords, including Atco Properties, Paramount Group, MacArthur Holdings, Winter Organization and RFR Holdings. David has a broad range of experience in real estate. Prior to joining Summit RE Partners, David practiced real estate law in New York and News Jersey for several years. David has counseled, consulted for and served as broker for a variety of institutional and entrepreneurial clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including, but not limited to, acquisitions, dispositions, leases, conversions and financing. David also has real estate asset and facilities management experience, both from a direct ownership and portfolio company perspective. David earned a Masters certificate in Real Estate from NYU, a Juris Doctor from Fordham Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
José Luis Coirolo has transitioned from a 24-year career in financial services and technology into real estate, specializing in office space and unique commercial building opportunities. His background includes senior roles at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, Pershing, Caxton Associates, and the New York Stock Exchange, where he became a recognized leader in market data and trading systems. Through his consulting firm, Sapient Venture Partners, he advised global institutions such as Deutsche Bank and supported companies in emerging sectors, applying strategy, analytics, and relationship-building to deliver results.
Today, José Luis applies that same expertise to real estate, leveraging his skills in financial analysis, deal structuring, and operational execution to uncover value in distinctive properties. He also serves on the boards of Light47x, a regulated crypto asset exchange, and Regiment Group, an F45 training franchise developer across Europe, the U.S., and Latin America. Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, and with an MBA from the University of Deusto, José Luis brings an international perspective and disciplined approach to every opportunity.
